Three of Pentacles

I finally finished my page on the Three of Pentacles. I don't know why it seemed like such a monster before.
Anyway, the website has had a bit of a facelift, and expect some new and exciting things in the next few weeks.

The Three of Pentacles is a card of hard work in a group setting. When it shows up in a reading, it symbolizes that you need to be able to work in groups, and put aside differences. You may want to do something alone, but you just can’t. By listening to others, you will find abundance and joy from your work. It may be a new experience, to work like this, but it will only bring growth. You can read the rest of the article at my website by clicking here.

New Essay

I've been *so* unmotivated, it's insane. I've been working more on my services site instead of Digital Pagan.

Anyway, I wrote a new essay called "Why Quetzy", based on a meme from livejournal. It's about my patron deities, and how we connected.

The first deity I was ever aware of was Quetzalcoatl. I’m pretty sure He’s been around since my birth, but waited until He could show Himself to me, when I was ready. Though I think He was a bit disappointed when I had more of an interest in Egypt, He was still patient, and like a Father almost. The first time I heard the name “Quetzalcoatl” or “Kukulcan” that I can remember was when I was eight.

Meditation Help?

Sorry about the lack of updates. I haven't been working on Digital Pagan. I had a bad cold and I've been working on my spa.

Anyway, I'm taking an online course about animal totems now. My final assignment is a meditation, where we look into various meditation techniques, then meditatate and write a paper on what I experience with my animal guides.

Confession time guys: I've never really meditated before, and I have no idea how. I've done some googling, and found some useful sites, but I'm still wary.

Does anyone have any advice?

I was thinking about just doing a guided meditation, for a first-timer, do you think that would be better?

Skeptics and Site Update

I'm working on overcoming my intense dislike for skeptics I find on the internet. I mean, I'm not exactly conventional, and I will encounter loads of skeptics in my life, and I have to be able to explain my position calmly and know when to accept defeat and agree to disagree.

I was reading a skeptics opinion on Wicca, which he explained to be a super fluffy religion where everyone dances barefoot and literally hugs trees. I do applaud the site for dispelling myths like Wiccans worship Satan.

Does it make me close-minded because I'm not a skeptic? I do question things, and I accept that I may not be right, and I sure as hell don't market my crystal healing or Reiki as the "cure-all". If anything, I market it as a relaxation technique.

It'll be a long process, but I will do it.

Site Updates: Some new stuff in the New's section, and I've got an article up about the colour indigo.

Indigo is also used to aid in spiritual communication, meaning that if one is engaged in a séance, indigo candles may help. Indigo candles are also used to help establish meditative states. I’ve talked to a lot of people who have issues meditating, and indigo candles are said to help calm the mind and prepare it for a meditation.

Phew, over that.

So, I admit, I love making websites. I miss this blog, but hey, change is sometimes good.

I don't want to give it up entirely though, so I'm gunna tie the site with the blog. New site page? New blog post.
I mean, it might work.

Anyway, just a reminder, the site is here: www.digital-pagan.weebly.com
